We are thrilled to announce our new album, Light Headed, is now available on iTunes!!
Right here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/light-headed/id440925718
This is kinda like the modern day equivalent of seeing yourself on the shelves of Tower Records for the first time. Within days, we will also be available on Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster, eMusic, Spotify, CD Baby, and most anywhere else you prefer to get your music.
We would still prefer that you buy our album through our own web store at scatteredsunsmusic.bandcamp.com. It’s cheaper, we see a larger share of the proceeds, you can name your own price and audio format, AND you get a full digital booklet of liner notes, lyrics and photos with your download. However, we know that iTunes is what many people are most comfortable using and we’re more than happy to receive support through any service.
We’re happy to see a lot of you have listened online, though what we’d REALLY like is to be on your iPod! While it’s still early, and we’re working hard on promoting the album, there would be nothing more helpful than the support of our friends, family and fans in downloading our album. We know you’ll love it. To those who have purchased it already, we know who you are, and we thank you SO MUCH! It’s because of your support that we’ve been able to reach this point.
There are a number of other incredibly simple, free ways you can show some support…
- Review our album on iTunes, CDBaby and anywhere else! This is crucial. Write as brief or as long as you’d like. Copy/paste it over to the others for bonus points. Positive reviews and ratings are simple to do, and seriously help us.
- “Like” us on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and anywhere else you see us on the web. Anywhere you see “Like”, “retweet”, “share”, etc just one click is all we ask. :)
- Comment on our updates, share, recommend us online or in the real world. Like David Lee Roth said, “If you like it, tell a friend. If you hate it, tell an enemy!” If just a fraction of our close friends quickly posted us to their wall, we’d be exposed to thousands of new people all over the world!
- If you know of any music blogs, critics, radio stations, podcasts, industry people, etc that might be interested in us, shoot them a message about us or point us in their direction!
Last but not least, make sure to check us out live at The Mint on Saturday, June 4th! We’re playing with our friends PigMoney, so it’s sure to be a great show. Our album and kick ass T-Shirts will be on sale. You can buy cheap presale tickets from us personally.
Thank you so much for your continued support, stay in touch!
